🎯 MISSION

The Leroy Merlin Spain Marketplace team is looking for a data analysis oriented MARKETPLACE INTERN to support the growth of the marketplace.

The position will be based in our offices in Madrid (Alcobendas) and is hybrid (2 remote days per week). Additionally, Leroy Merlin Spain offers a private shuttle bus service to transport employees living in Madrid center to the Alcobendas office, from Plaza de Castilla and Atocha at the start and end of the day, from Monday to Friday.

Duration of the internship: 6 months, start date of the internship asap. After 6 months, the Marketplace Intern will be evaluated for the possibility to grow to a Catalog Quality junior position and adopt a permanent role in the Marketplace team in Spain.

The Intern will have several key responsibilities, including:

• Catalogue quality: Support in improving the quality of product data (attributes, images, visibility, classification, certifications, etc.), establishing efficient processes and collaborating with other teams to scale good practices.
• Incident resolution: Management of JIRAs and catalogue incidents in coordination with Account Managers, Sellers and other teams involved.
• Reporting and automation: Periodic monitoring of catalogue metrics, development of reports on category selection/new categories and automation of operational tasks using tools such as SQL, Python scripts, and AI tools.
  

With a profile oriented towards operational execution and data analysis. Although the position is primarily local with frequent collaboration with Account Managers, you will also have contact with international teams within Adeo Marketplace Services and other business units. The focus of the position is very hands-on, with a focus on day-to-day incident resolution.

🥇 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous internship-level experience in a company performing related tasks.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or similar.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and tools such as Excel, SQL or Python (valuable).
• Capacity for organisation and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and collaborate in a dynamic and transversal environment.
• Interest in the e-commerce sector and marketplaces.
• High level of English.
